Following Blackburn Youth Zone participation in the Big Give Christmas Campaign 2020, we are pleased to announce we have exceeded our target of £40,000 to support the time to talk project.Following Blackburn Youth Zones participation in the Big Give Christmas Campaign 2020, we are pleased to announce that we have exceeded our target of £40,000 to support the Blackburn Youth Zone ‘Time to talk’ project. 40% of all children in Blackburn with Darwen are now living in poverty with the full effects of the covid-19 pandemic still unknown.A big thank you to those of you who have supported this campaign to ensure we can deliver the time to talk project to Blackburn Youth Zone members during a time when they need us the most. Without your support, this would not have been possible. The “Time to Talk” project will support young people aged 5 – 18 over the next 12 months, responding to young people’s individual needs/priorities it will particularly target those disproportionately affected by the COVID pandemic.Thank you very much for your support.
