Blackburn Youth Zone is proud to announce that Vital Life has chosen to become a Patron.
Vital Life UK is a Blackburn-based business which manufactures and sells premium quality hand sanitiser. While Covid-19 continues to impact our daily lives, Vital Life has risen to the challenge to defend and protect and by creating a high-alcohol 70% sanitiser gel for as many people as possible to get their hands on. With over 15 fragrances available via their website www.vital-life.co.uk including: Baby powder, Grapefruit and Rose & Jasmine
The company has a wider health and wellbeing focus, with a range of vitamins and supplements, helping people feel good on the inside.
Vital Life is the latest local business to step forward and become a Youth Zone Patron. Patrons are companies and individuals who support the charity mainly through financial donations but also goods, services and volunteering.
Saimina Adam MD, of Vital Life said:
“We are delighted to become Patrons for Blackburn Youth Zone; we are here to support and invest in projects to help young people in the area. Community is important to us and we are excited to work together with the Youth Zone to raise the ambitions of young people, providing them with life skills, increased confidence and independence, which will set them up for the future”
Vital Life’s pledge to support Blackburn Youth Zone is crucial to the ongoing success of the charity which is located in the centre of Blackburn. It exists to create a positive future for young people of Blackburn with Darwen, promoting cohesion, skills and aspirations, and health and wellbeing.
During the pandemic, Blackburn Youth Zone has been able to quickly adapt its services focusing on reaching young people at home, by delivering food parcels, delivering online activities and doing one to one support for the most vulnerable BYZ members. Now Blackburn Youth Zone doors are back open, young people are engaged in fun and safe activities in a safe environment following Government guidelines.
In order to provide the support that young people deserve, Blackburn Youth Zone needs to raise a minimum of £1million every year – 75% of this comes from fundraising, including support from local businesses, known as Patrons.
Andrew Graham MBE, Founder of Blackburn Youth Zone and Vice-Chairman said:
“We are absolutely delighted that Saimina and her family and colleagues have decided to support BYZ as Patrons. Now more than ever young people in our community need our help and support. Our youth work team are passionate about helping young people to become the best they can be and they can not offer this support without the important financial help of local businesses. Thank you Vital Life and all our Patrons.”
