Napthens raise £5,313 for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone at Annual Charity Clay Shoot
An annual event hosted by law firm Napthens raised £5,313 for local charity Blackburn & Darwen
Youth Zone.
Held at the Coniston Hotel and shooting ground at Skipton, North Yorkshire, the day saw local businesses unite to raise vital funds for the charity. Sponsored by Napthens, ACG Renewables and Bowker Motor Group, the day featured shooting in the countryside, followed by a three-course dinner
and a raffle.
Napthens has organised the charity clay pigeon shoot for many years, and the event is now a significant one on the charity’s calendar, which is not to be missed.
Oliver McCann, Partner and Head of Napthens East Lancs Office, said:
“We are a proud Patron of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, and we were delighted to organise the clay pigeon shoot once again to raise vital funds for the charity. It’s always a popular and entertaining day, mixing business with fun, but it wouldn’t have been possible without those businesses which took
part, and we’d like to thank everyone for their support, in helping raise this fantastic sum.”
Wayne Wild Chairman of Blackburn Youth Zone, said:
“We would like to express our gratitude to Napthens Solicitors for organising a successful event to raise funds for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone. We would also like to thank all the teams that participated in the event and contributed to raising funds and awareness for the charity. Your
continued support is greatly appreciated.”
The annual Charity Clay Shoot has become a highlight on the charity’s calendar, showcasing the power of collaboration and community engagement in positively impacting the lives of young people in Blackburn and Darwen.
The next event takes place on Thursday 10th October 2024.
