The themed holiday club programme at Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone will give endless opportunities to learn something new, create friendships, and take part in all things FUN. Step into an unforgettable activity-packed week where you have something new to do every hour of every day whilst accessing the state-of-the-art facilities at Blackburn Youth Zone and Youth Zone Darwen.

Be part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) program, a government-funded initiative to provide children and young people with healthy meals and exciting activities. If you’re eligible for free school meals, you can enjoy all the programme’s perks at no cost!

Every session will have various activities to keep minds occupied throughout the day. There is something for everyone, from Teamed Sports Day to 1-1 challenges. You will even seize a chance to experience exploring Blackburn in a fun, exciting picture and poets’ scavenger hunt. This year, in Summer 2024 HAF, we want to take it up a notch and have bouncy castles, total wipeouts, and bucking broncos every Thursday.

We have special guests who will deliver fun-filled workshops daily. These workshops range from building your own fashion piece from recycled materials to hand-decorating cakes to your taste.
