A proud supporter of Blackburn Youth Zone donates £4,500 to support local young people and families across the borough.
Traditionally Trevor Dawson Commercial Property Consultants hold an annual Charity Golf Day in aid of Blackburn Youth Zone. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions in place the local business made a decision to postpone the event. Being that this event is a firm favourite for many individuals across the borough, raising vital funds for the charity; the decision was not taken lightly. Despite disappointment, Trevor Dawson remains committed to supporting their local community. The business recently reached out to Blackburn Youth Zone and have kindly donated £4,500; the average proceeds of the event.

We are extremely proud of being able to support Blackburn Youth Zone and the young people of Blackburn with Darwen. We understand the importance of supporting young people and the opportunities that arise from our donation and support. As we are a local business, we firmly believe we should continuously support the families and young people of our community.
The donation received by Trevor Dawson will see the launch of a new BYZ campaign ‘Paint The Town Orange. A campaign aiming to raise money to support local young people struggling with low level mental health. Blackburn Youth Zone are inviting local businesses to help them ‘Paint the town orange’ and take part in their new £50 corporate challenge. The money raised will go towards funding a practitioner, who will support local young people with the skills and resilience who are facing difficulties and challenges and learn how to deal with them before they eclate.
